The Dong Da Hill Festival marks the victory of Emperor Quang Trung (Nguyen Hue) over the Qing invaders in 1789. It is one of the most patriotic and spectacular festivals in Hanoi.

The celebration features reenactments of the historic battle, grand parades, martial arts performances, and traditional drumming ceremonies. The sound of hundreds of drums echoes through the streets, symbolizing the strength and unity of the Vietnamese people.
