Hue Festival is held every two years, is a major cultural event held in Hue in even-numbered years to commemorate the traditional values ​​of the ancient capital of Hue. Participating in this festival, visitors will enjoy street art performances, poetry readings, colorful exhibitions, concerts, drumming and watching historical films.

As one of the major festivals, Hue Festival with many community festival programs is recreated in a large space both inside and outside the city, contributing to reviving the cultural values ​​of Hue.

Many programs such as: Royal Night, Nam Giao ceremony, Truyen Lo and Vinh qui bai to ceremony, Ao Dai festival, sea festival, kite flying, poetry release, poetry performance, festival market, human chess, racing…

Hue City also recreates other festivals such as: Reenacting the festival of Nguyen Hue ascending to the throne with the reign name Quang Trung, organizing the martial arts doctoral exam festival, exploiting the cultural space in the Ho Quyen – Voi Re area… From these festivals, many traditional handicrafts are gradually recovering, creating a distinct mark and contributing to enriching the land of the Ancient Capital.
